In an effort to empower women in the technology industry, St. Hubert hosted a Women in Technology Conference at their new Connelly Arts and Design Center. The event was sponsored by Cisco Systems and coincided with International Girls in Information and Communication Technology Day, which focused on the theme of Leadership this year.
The conference attracted attendees from various schools, including St. Hubert, Little Flower, and Archbishop Ryan, as well as state Sen. Jimmy Dillon who is the minority-party chairman of the Senate Communications & Technology Committee. Jeanine Heck, a 1995 graduate of St. Hubert who is now the Senior Vice President of Entertainment Product at Comcast, served as the keynote speaker for the conference.
During the event, various speakers shared their insights with attendees. Gladys Kline from ThousandEyes (a part of Cisco) talked about how she worked to achieve her career goals while Gretchen Area from Campbell Soup Company shared tips on building successful partnerships with men in male-dominated industries.

Overall, attendees left feeling inspired and empowered to pursue leadership roles in their own careers within the tech industry.
