The Bahamas played host to the World Athletics Relays 24, which saw Team USA’s dominance in relay events lead up to the Paris 2024 athletics competition. Despite being disqualified in the heats, Botswana men claimed victory in the 4x400m relay.
The event was crucial for athletes looking to secure Olympic quota spots. By the end of the two-day competition, 14 out of 16 spots were filled in each discipline, including the men’s and women’s 4x100m relay, men’s and women’s 4x400m relay, and the mixed 4x400m relay.
