The first-ever AI beauty pageant, “Miss AI,” is set to feature models and influencers created through artificial intelligence competing for a $20,000 prize. Judged on their looks, online influence, and technical skill involved in their creation, the contestants will showcase their abilities in front of a panel of judges, including two AI influencers.
The event is organized by the World AI Creator Awards (WAICA) and aims to showcase the capabilities of AI-generated individuals. Future contests are planned on fashion, diversity, and computer-generated men.
Partnering with Fanvue, a subscription-based platform hosting virtual models, the pageant will award cash prizes to the winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher. The winners will be announced on May 10, with an online awards ceremony occurring later in the month. The panel of judges includes both AI-generated and human members, ranging from influencers to entrepreneurs and beauty pageant historians.
Entrants must be 100% AI-generated with no restrictions on the tools used in their creation, allowing a diverse range of submissions. Thousands of entries have been submitted, demonstrating the interest and innovation surrounding AI technology in the beauty and fashion industry. The competition is a groundbreaking step in recognizing the potential of artificial intelligence in digital media and entertainment.
