The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the show jumping athletes who will be attending the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on April 16-20. The U.S. was granted 10 qualifying slots, but only five athletes with six horses will attend.
The seven highest ranking U.S. athletes from East USA (USEF Zones 1 through 7) and the three highest ranking athletes from West USA (USEF Zones 8 through 12) have been selected to compete in the event. Kent Farrington from Wellington, Florida will be competing with Greya and Toulayna, while Jill Humphrey from Sacramento, California will be riding Chromatic BF. Devin Ryan from Long Valley, New Jersey is the rider for Eddie Blue, Sophia Siegel from Portola Valley, California will be competing with A-Girl and Skylar Wireman from Bonsall, California will be riding Tornado.
The full list of definite entries for the event includes 42 athletes and 35 horses from 19 countries and is available on the FEI website. The competition will take place from Wednesday, April 17 to Saturday, April 20 at King Abdul Aziz International Equestrian Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The schedule includes Final I on Wednesday, Final II on Thursday and Final III on Saturday. The event will be live streamed on FEI.TV.
