The Senate Committee on the Judiciary will be meeting in Room G50 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting includes the consideration of several nominees for various judicial and law enforcement positions. Among the nominees are Nancy L. Maldonado for United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit, Georgia N. Alexakis for United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, Krissa M. Lanham and Angela M. Martinez for United States District Judges for the District of Arizona, Sparkle L. During the meeting, the committee will also discuss S. 1306, the COPS Reauthorization Act, which has been sponsored by Senators Klobuchar, Murkowski, Coons, Tillis, and Graham.
