United States Set to Provide New Military Aid to Ukraine: Biden Approves $95 Billion Package

The United States is set to provide new military aid to Ukraine in the near future, as President Joe Biden has indicated his approval for the assistance. According to the Pentagon, they hope to deliver the aid within days, although they have not provided specific details on what type of assistance will be provided. The Senate is expected to approve a $95 billion military aid package, which includes $61,000 allocated specifically for Ukraine. This aid package aims to enhance Ukraine’s air defense capabilities and artillery ammunition.

In recent years, the US has provided over $75 billion in military aid to Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in 2014. During a recent call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, President Biden discussed the situation and reaffirmed the US’s commitment to providing additional support based on Ukraine’s most urgent needs. However, Russia has warned that any further military support from the US could lead to a disastrous outcome like Vietnam.
