In a heartwarming ceremony held on April 18th, the Veterinary Technology Program at Ogeechee Technical College celebrated its 2024 graduates. The event took place in the auditorium of the Joseph E. Kennedy Building and was presided over by Juliana Cadle, President of Ogeechee Tech’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA).
During the ceremony, Deidre Tillman, a Veterinary Technology instructor at OTC, praised the graduates for their unwavering commitment to their academic curriculum and for showcasing exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care throughout their training. She expressed her confidence in their abilities to make a significant impact on the lives of animals and their human companions.
As part of the ceremony, the class took the Veterinary Technician’s Oath, and each of the program’s ten graduates were individually recognized and presented with an Ogeechee Technical College Veterinary Technology pin. The 2024 pin recipients include Avery Beasley, Bonnie Blackburn, Enyia Bostic, Hannah Etheridge, Bryn Green, Faith Jones, Michalla Jones, Maranda Martin, Taylor Rhymes-Weidner, and Madison Wooley.
