The NBA’s sixth annual California Classic will have a unique format this summer as the Kings and Warriors team up to host an expanded dual California Classic event in Sacramento and San Francisco. The event, which will take place at Golden 1 Center on July 6, 7, and 9, will feature the Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. Chase Center will host events on July 6, 7, and 10 with the Warriors, Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat.
A total of 12 games will be played showcasing rookies from the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, sophomore players, and others looking to make NBA and G League rosters. The final game will be between the Warriors and Kings on July 10 at Chase Center. Modified game play rules, including 10-minute quarters, will be in place for the summer league games.
