Zay Jones is set to visit the Kansas City Chiefs today on his free agent tour. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones has scheduled a visit with the Chiefs following stops with the Titans, Cardinals, and Cowboys. The 29-year-old free agent played for the Jaguars for the past two seasons after spending time with the Raiders and Bills.
Jones had a strong showing in 2022, recording 82 catches for 823 yards despite being limited by injuries in the previous season. He could be an asset to any team’s passing game, and the Chiefs are looking to bolster their wide receiver position after legal troubles facing their top receiver, Rashee Rice.
The Chiefs signed Hollywood Brown as a free agent in the offseason and drafted Xavier Worthy in the first round. Jones could potentially further strengthen their receiving corps for next season.
