At New York University in Shanghai, Blinken spoke with students and expressed his hope for increased cultural exchange between the two countries. He also addressed concerns about the treatment of Chinese nationals, including students, upon their arrival in the United States.
As he prepares for meetings in Beijing, Blinken will discuss issues such as trade practices, military assistance to Taiwan, and concerns about China’s support for Russia’s rearmament efforts.
