Ossie, a young neighbor who has been in Myra’s life for only a few months, has become her closest friend. The two have formed a bond over their shared journey to find their place in the world. Myra, who has missed 30 years of her life due to a coma, is finally starting to come to terms with what she has missed and is eager to catch up on the world around her.

As she begins this new chapter in her life, Myra is also looking forward to exploring the work of Denver artist R. Alan Brooks. She has been following his work closely and is excited to see his latest projects at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop and Regis University’s MFA program.

Cori Redford, another local artist, has also been making waves in the Denver art scene. Born in Hawaii and having lived in various places before settling in Golden for high school in the late 80s, Cori has found her passion for art and is now pursuing it full-time at Metro and The Art Institute of Colorado.

As they continue on their journeys, both Myra and Cori are excited to see what the future holds for them and their fellow artists in the Denver community.
