The Cardinals announced on Thursday that four of their draftees have signed contracts. These include linebacker Xavier Thomas, offensive tackle Christian Jones, receiver Tejhaun Palmer, and cornerback Jaden Davis. However, eight draftees remain unsigned.
Xavier Thomas was highly regarded in the 2018 class and finished his freshman year at Clemson as an All-American. In the 2023 season, he had an impressive performance with 25 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks.
Christian Jones was drafted second by the Cardinals as a swing tackle. Tejhaun Palmer was also drafted this year as the team’s second wide receiver, joining a revamped receiving room that includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, and veteran Chris Moore.
Jaden Davis has shown versatility in his playing positions including outside, in the slot, and at safety. Last season he accounted for 42 tackles, four pass deflections and two forced fumbles.
