The Chautauqua Christian Academy Defenders made a comeback in the consolation game against Faith Christian of West Virginia, winning 67-60. With five minutes left in regulation and trailing by five points, Marcus Ryan and Sawyer Lynn scored crucial baskets to force overtime. In overtime, the team maintained their momentum and secured the victory.

Sawyer Lynn played a key role in the victory with his 19 points, including three 3-pointers. Junior Marcus Ryan stood out with an impressive 34-point performance, while Hunter Edwards contributed 10 rebounds and Kayden Peterson excelled on defense throughout the season. Both Ryan and Lynn earned spots on the All-Tournament team for their standout performances.

The Defenders finished third in Division 5 after losing to the eventual champions in the quarterfinals. Despite this setback, they showed determination and skill in their tournament run, culminating in a memorable victory in the consolation game.
