Jonathan E. Lass, an Austin-based partner at Jackson Walker, recently served as a presiding officer for The University of Texas School of Law’s 37th Annual Technology Law Conference. The conference will feature discussions led by nationally recognized leaders in technology, covering a range of industry issues such as technology licensing, data privacy, and emerging technology.
In addition to Jonathan’s involvement, Jennifer F. Wertz, a partner in the Austin office’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, & Recovery practice at Jackson Walker, will be presenting at the conference on Thursday, May 23. Her presentation, titled “A Technology-Focused Introduction to Bankruptcy & Insolvency,” will provide valuable insights on key concepts in bankruptcy and insolvency, including protectionist and opportunistic strategies.
Beau Butler, an associate at Jackson Walker’s Austin office also contributed to the event by co-authoring an article featured in the course materials.
