Video: Could Kayla Harrison be the top female bantamweight fighter in the world?

Kayla Harrison’s standout win at UFC 300 has sparked excitement in the division. With Amanda Nunes retiring, Harrison’s impressive record and championship experience make her a prime candidate for the title. In her debut, Harrison outperformed former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm with 68 strikes and a full round of control time. She secured a submission victory in the second round, despite having little experience in the 135-pound division.

Harrison confidently predicted a UFC title before the year’s end, and with current 135-pound champion Raquel Pennington set to return against former champion Julianna Peña, she could be in a prime position to challenge for the title. The MMA Junkie panelists, including Brian “Goze” Garcia, Danny Segura, Mike Bohn and host “Gorgeous” George Garcia discussed Harrison’s impressive debut in their latest episode of “Spinning Back Clique.”
