Benjamin Netanyahu has been blamed by one of the members of the Hamas delegation for the lack of progress in negotiations with Israel. The member spoke out in an interview with the Saudi TV channel Al-Sharak, stating that Hamas is prepared to return to the negotiating table if a second party appears.
The member emphasized that they did not withdraw from the negotiations or reject the Egyptian mediators, but waited patiently for two days in Cairo for the Israeli delegation to arrive. However, they were disappointed when they did not show up.
Despite this setback, the member stated that Hamas remains interested in reaching an agreement and is willing to continue negotiations. They mentioned that their movement has proposed its own ideas on certain points of the agreement and is awaiting a clear response from the Israeli side.
The Hamas representative also expressed their concern over Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements, which have increased suspicions that his true intentions are to continue the war. However, there is still a possibility of reaching an agreement if both parties are serious about finding a resolution.
