Tokyo’s Haneda Airport has been named the cleanest airport in the world according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards. The organization recognized Haneda for its cleanliness, including the floors, seating, public areas, and restrooms. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, airport cleanliness has become a top priority for travelers, and airports that maintain the highest standards are well-regarded.
Skytrax also named the top cleanest airport in each region, with Vancouver in North America, Quito in South America, Juan Santamaría in Central America and the Caribbean, Cape Town in Africa, Brisbane in Australia/Pacific, Shanghai Hongqiao in China, Baku in Central Asia
