Indiana High Schools Shine in U.S. News & World Report Rankings
The latest rankings released by U.S. News & World Report include nearly 400 high schools from Indiana, which made the list of the top high schools in the country. The rankings were determined using data from statewide standardized testing results, graduation rates, College Board and International Baccalaureate exam data, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Common Core of Data. Out of approximately 25,000 public schools reviewed, 395 schools from Indiana made the rankings.
The top-ranked schools were found to have high rates of students scoring above average in math, science, and reading assessments, passing college-level exams, and graduating in four years. Among these top schools are Signature School in Evansville, The Indiana Academy in Muncie, West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High School, Zionsville Community High School, Herron High School in Indianapolis, Carmel High School, Speedway Senior High School
