The Oberlin Business Partnership has announced the inaugural Super Teams event, which is part of the Leadercast Series and focused on helping companies improve their leadership. This rare opportunity for individuals in the area to attend a professional development event of this caliber will take place at 8 a.m. on June 25 at the Hotel at Oberlin, 10 E. College St.
According to Sharon Pearson, the executive director of the Oberlin Business Partnership, this event is designed to help businesses enhance their leadership skills. Attendees will have the chance to learn new leadership strategies, network with a variety of organizations and business leaders, and discuss operating post-pandemic. The Super Teams event is part of a series of three events happening this year, and attendees can receive a $10 discount for future events. Tickets are priced at $75 per person or $400 for a table of six.
Due to the changes made during the pandemic, there has been some dysfunction in businesses and companies. The Super Teams event aims to help organizations navigate these challenges and get back on track. Pearson mentioned that the Leadercast had not offered a program like this in the area until now, providing a unique opportunity for individuals between Oberlin and Columbus to participate. In-person attendance is encouraged but the event will also be video recorded for those who cannot attend in person.
