The Whitefish Lake Institute is hosting a Science Quencher event on April 26 from 5-7 p.m. at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. This event features local scientists discussing topics such as fish, sheep, owls, and rivers. It is an opportunity to engage with experts in the field of natural resources and conservation.
During the event, attendees will have the chance to learn from passionate presenters who are eager to share their knowledge with others. Each speaker will be given a 10-15 minute time slot to present their topic followed by a question and answer session. Speakers include Sam Bourret, a fisheries biologist with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks; Carol Treadwell, finance and grants manager for Whitefish Lake Institute and chief wool handler at Steitzhof Merinos; Denver Holt, founder and president of The Owl Research Institute; and Dakota Whitman, a fluvial geomorphologist with River Design Group.
