Shakira, the Grammy-winning Colombian superstar, is set to bring her world tour to Boston later this year. The first leg of her tour will take place in 12 cities in the United States and two in Canada, beginning on November 2 in California and concluding on December 15 in Detroit.
Shakira’s latest album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry), was released on March 22 and marks the singer-songwriter’s first studio album in seven years. This album has been a massive success for Shakira and has propelled her back into the spotlight.
The North American leg of the tour includes stops in Palm Desert, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Dallas, Miami, Charlotte, Washington D.C., Toronto, Brooklyn, Montreal, Chicago, and Detroit. International dates for the tour are expected to be announced soon.
Tickets for the tour go on sale to the public on April 22 at 10 a.m. Shakira’s Wolfpack members who join before Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. ET will have access to a pre-sale starting on April 19 at 9 a.m. ET.
In addition to her upcoming tour and album release, Shakira recently performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California on April 12 alongside DJ Bizarrap. This performance was a huge success and further solidified Shakira’s status as one of the biggest names in music today.
