In softball, Monroe graduate Ellie Sieler and Whiteford product Aly VanBrandt will face off this weekend in the Division 4 state finals. Both players lead their teams in hitting, with VanBrandt holding a .380 average and Sieler hitting .363. Sieler recently had an impressive performance, hitting back-to-back home runs and going 7-for-9 in a three-game series. The Michigan vs. Indiana series begins Friday.

In youth wrestling, Sullivan Layne of Monroe won a MYWAY state championship during the weekend at the age of just eight years old at Manor Elementary School. Meanwhile, in adult soccer, Travis Campbell scored five goals to lead Old Crows to an 8-5 victory over Athletico on the opening night of Winter Session III at LevelUp Training Center. Rev.
