The Tulsa World is hosting a contest to honor the best mascot, band, cheer squad, dance team, and fan base, with the event sponsored by Tulsa Tech. This year’s competition promises to be an exciting one, with participants allowed to submit one nomination per category.

The top five nominees in each category will move on to the voting round, and the winning school will be contacted in advance of the event to prepare for the ceremony. Last year, Jenks took home the title in every category except for mascot, which was awarded to Rambo from Owasso High School. Will they be able to repeat their success this year?

In addition to this exciting contest, there are also the All-World Awards which recognize exceptional athletes and coaches in high school sports.
