The qualifiers for the tournament are currently underway at the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The top two teams emerging from these qualifiers will secure the last two spots in the main event, joining six-time winners Australia, New Zealand, and Qualifier 1 in Group A. Group B consists of hosts Bangladesh, England, South Africa, the West Indies, and Qualifier 2.
Group A matches will take place at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet while Group B matches will be held at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The tournament kicks off with a highly anticipated match between South Africa and England on October 3rd, followed by India facing New Zealand on October 4th and Australia on October 13th.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for May 17th and 18th. The final match is set to take place at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on October 20th.
