The University of Utah is set to host its 155th general commencement on Thursday, May 2, recognizing graduates from Fall 2023, and Spring and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A total of 118 current or former Utah student-athletes are among the graduates, a testament to the commitment to excellence both athletically and academically at the University.
Utah’s student-athletes continue to graduate at an exceptionally high rate, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The student-athletes graduating represent a variety of sports including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis
