St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Morley as its new vice president of operations. Morley, who has five years of experience serving as the vice president of operations at the SSM Health System office, will take over from Becky Miller, who retired last year.

Morley played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model during his tenure at the system office. He also founded the concept behind the company’s Clinical Recruitment Team. According to a news release, Morley expressed his passion for hospital operations and how it impacts patients and communities. His career began in supply chain management before he shifted to healthcare administration.

Morley expressed his excitement about joining St. Mary’s Hospital, emphasizing its rich history of providing care to those in need. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside dedicated caregivers and exceptional individuals and teams as they continue to uphold a standard of excellence in all they do.

In his new role, Morley will oversee various departments, including the inpatient pharmacy, information technology, safety, and security among others. Prior to joining SSM Health, Morley held leadership positions at Intermountain Health in two different regions as well as at the system office. His diverse background and experience are expected to be valuable assets in his new position at St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City.

Morley brings with him extensive experience having served as vice president of operations at the SSM Health System office for five years where he played a key role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model.

He also founded the concept behind the company’s Clinical Recruitment Team which further showcases his expertise.

In an interview with us, Morley expressed his passion for hospital operations stating that it all started with his career beginning in supply chain management before shifting to healthcare administration.

Prior to joining SSM Health Systems Office, Morley held leadership positions at Intermountain Health in two different regions which gives him an insight into various healthcare systems across different geographies.
