Wisk Aero, an advanced air mobility company, has announced a strategic partnership with Sonaca, a major structure supplier. Under this partnership, Sonaca will develop and supply major components for Wisk’s sixth-generation autonomous air taxi. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Sonaca’s diversification strategy and solidifies its position as a leading major structure supplier.
As part of the agreement, Sonaca will be responsible for developing and producing major primary structural assemblies for Wisk’s Gen 6 aircraft. The company has previously supported the design phase of these components and will leverage its global footprint to manufacture and supply parts from its facilities in Belgium, Brazil, Romania, and the United States.
