However, his symptoms resurfaced a few months ago and his mental health has worsened significantly according to Brendan Boyle. Watching his brother deteriorate in this way has been difficult for their family.
Brendan Boyle explained that they, along with close friends and colleagues, have tried everything to get Kevin into treatment, but have faced challenges in the system that limits their ability to intervene. As a Democrat representative for part of Philadelphia in the U.S. House of Representatives, he emphasized that their top priority is for Kevin to receive the necessary medical treatment and fully recover as he did before. He expressed solidarity with all families going through similar challenges of having a loved one suffering from mental health issues.
