Weekly performance of Gulf stocks shows mixed results

In the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, stock markets saw a mixed performance last week. The Dubai market index experienced a slight decline of 0.05% to 4244.15 points, while Abu Dhabi’s market rose by 0.1% to 9237.26 points. The Saudi market index ended the week with a 1.1% increase, closing at 12,705 points.

In Kuwait, the general market index declined by 0.75% over three sessions and closed at 7,271.82 points on Thursday before trading resumed on Sunday. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s general index fell by 1.67% over five sessions and closed at 2,021.54 points in the latest session before trading resumes on Monday or Tuesday. Qatar’s stock exchange index fell by 1.28% to close at 9816
