Muller Technology is Advancing Automation for Plastics Processors

Muller Technology, a leading factory automation supplier, is set to debut its new custom mobile robotic systems at NPE2024 in Orlando, FL from May 6 to 10. The company’s latest product line and service offerings aim to revolutionize traditional downstream automation by providing continuous operation 24/7 while decreasing OSHA recordable events.

The Mobile Manipulators (MoMas) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) offered by Muller are designed to enhance the capabilities of traditional automation processes. These advanced systems combine an AMR and a cobot, equipped with a vision-based end-of-arm tool. With the ability to pick up items from shelves, assemble components, place delicate objects, and carry empty or full boxes or pallets, the MoMa can execute repetitive assembly processes and transport goods with ease.

Muller serves as a comprehensive automation solution provider for plastics processors, offering services from the mold to case packers and end-of-line logistics. The company has partnered with AMR manufacturer Omron and acts as an Omron Certified Systems Integrator, seamlessly integrating AMRs and MoMas into turnkey automation operations at its facilities in Colorado and Switzerland.

Carsten Eisenkrämer, Group CEO of Muller Technology emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing the challenges faced by the manufacturing industry. With their cutting-edge product line and service offerings, Muller aims to empower plastics manufacturers to achieve higher levels of efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

In a recent project involving AMRs led by Muller, 23 employees were promoted to higher-level roles within their operation. This positive impact of automation on plant efficiency and cost reduction demonstrates Muller’s commitment to creating innovative solutions that benefit both businesses and workers alike. Attendees can visit Muller at Booth S12171 during NPE2024 at the Orange County Convention Center to learn more about their advanced automation solutions that will revolutionize traditional downstream automation processes in the manufacturing industry.
