In Girard, it was a nail-biting game as they hosted Lakeview on Tuesday. The Bulldogs managed to pull off a 7-6 victory in what was described as an old-fashioned barnburner. Lakeview coach Cam Carson praised his team for battling through tough situations and playing the game from start to finish.

Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, Andrew McCutchen hit a leadoff home run for the second straight game, Bailey Falter pitched a shutout into the eighth inning, and the Pirates defeated the Brewers 2-1.

In Cleveland, José Ramírez homered in the eighth inning to help lead the Guardians to a 4-1 victory over the Red Sox. Tyler Freeman and Bryan Rocchio also contributed RBIs in the seventh inning as Cleveland continued their impressive start to the season.

In Mineral Ridge, it was another close call as they defeated McDonald 8-7 on Tuesday. Jack Gillie earned the win on the mound, with McDonald just falling short of a dramatic seventh-inning rally that would have secured them a victory at home.

Lakeview also secured a victory, beating Girard 7-6 in what was described as an intense game. Belle O’Brien tossed a no-hitter and hit a home run as McDonald shut out Mineral Ridge 21-0 in another exciting baseball game.
