In 1979, Jacobs Financial moved to St. Cloud and since then has grown into a successful family-owned business. Jim Jacobs, a partner in the firm, took over ownership in 1992 and has been committed to doing the right thing for clients and the community ever since. The company currently employs seven advisors and seven support staff, with plans for expansion into the Brainerd and Maple Grove areas in the future.
The family-owned aspect of the business is important to Andy and Dave, who believe that trust is crucial when working with clients. This commitment to doing the right thing not only for clients but for the community has contributed to their success. The relationship with the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce has also played a role in their growth, helping them connect with people and form lasting relationships within the community.
The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2024 Business Awards Luncheon on May 1st, where Jacobs Financial will be honored along with other award recipients. This year’s winners include H&S Heating, A/C, Electrical and Plumbing for Small Business Owners of the Year and Jill Magelssen of Express Employment Professionals as the Women in Business Champion.
